Aurora and Landscape Photography in Northern Norway

Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park

I took the image above in September 2013. It was one of my first better northern lights image, although it was made with a camera and lens that were not really suited to this kind of photography. I´ll write more about the technical side of northern lights photography in another post.

This image is now shown on the website for the Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park. I got contacted some while ago because they wanted to use my image. It is great to finally see it on the website. You can also look at it at a higher resolution in my gallery.

For the ones who are interested where this is: The lake you see on the image is Ellenvann, a small lake in the national park. To get to this place, we took a kayak trip from Sortbrysttjernkoia. You can also take a hike from this place into the national park. I can really recommend taking a trip there, but I would rather wait until August due to the mosquitoes.

You can also follow me on on my Facebook page or Instagram for updates.
